In the barrio
There isn't much on it yet, but it's still fun, and the cement is very smooth. The only major problem with it is that it seems like it turns into a major high school hang out around 3pm, since the bus drops them off right in front of it.
The bank to ledge is very good:

New Woodridge park
It's not great, but it has a few things that are fun, and it has lights on until 10pm.
14 foot wide barrier:
Another barrier, and a weird bank ledge thing:
4 foot high bowl with channel:
Channel:
Marble bench and pole jam:
The rest is pretty lame, including one of the worst pyramids I've seen, and some really dumb 1 foot high "handrails".

Today at Roselle...
A kook showed up with this hat on and skated for about 15 minutes:
It was about 2 feet high, and he eventually left for 20 minutes and returned with a different hat, one that was far less amusing.
"COOL & FUNKY black and white top hat fashioned after the popular MAD HATTER style with classic Mickey Mouse silhouettes"

New Lombard Skatepark
So, it's pretty much a piece of garbage, and one of the smallest parks I've ever been to, but it's still kind of fun.
There's a rock, for some reason, and a fake barrier thing (I think it's the same one they have at Carol Stream).
The mini ramp is absolutely the worst I've ever skated. The seams between the deck and transition pieces is so harsh that it makes the ramp virtually useless. It's as bad or worse than the Schaumburg bowl.
There's a really crappy pyramid that is incredibly awkward to skate. The flat bars and fake pole jam thing are fun.
I was told that the park district might open up the empty tennis court next to the park and let people build their own stuff there. That would transform this place from terrible to potentially interesting. Go for the rock, stay for the local troll watching.
